8 Awesome Things

With my birthday being in november and christmas following in december, the month of january always see's me wondering how I'm possibly going to fit the wonderful gifts my family and friends have given me into my tiny little bedroom. This year I was not only made to feel like a princess by everyone, but I got some of the coolest things that I've ever been given. So I thought I'd share with you guys 8 of these incredible gifts!
*Warning, this is a very long blog post with lots of pictures so you may want to grab a drink or a snack!*

1)
I am going to be LIVING in this t-shirt from now on! It has 3 of my favourite things all rolled into one in the coolest way possible and I genuinely feel so happy when I wear this t-shirt. I'm not entirely sure where this is from, I think it might be a site called QuirkyTee but I can't guarantee it so I think your best bet is probably Amazon if you'd like to purchase this!

2)
This was a present off my friend Natalie and I am so excited to use it! It's essentially a kit of ingredients to make your own lip balms. I'm going to do a full blog post on how you make this so make sure you come back for that! Also the small bottle of strawberry flavouring is the most amazing thing I have ever smelt! If you want to purchase this lipbalm kit in strawberry, orange, spearment, or make your own body scrub or facemask instead, you can do that HERE!

3)

Where do I even begin with these books?!
They're a new edition of the entire Harry Potter series in hardback and I absolutely adore them. You can get them in paperback for a lot lot cheaper, but I just think they're so much prettier in hardback and I have always preferred hardbacks when purchasing a book. The initial cover is on the dust jacket of every book, and then the actual hard cover looks like the image above where it's a block colour with gold stars and gold writing on the spine.
They even have quirky little facts in the back of each book, it's awesome! These are by far my new prized possessions and I cannot wait to get a new shelf where I can display them and have them looking all wonderful and pretty!

4)
My favourite place in the entire world is Africa. I absolutely adore it. It is my life dream to go on a safari and aside from pigs, elephants are my favourite animal. For our first christmas together, my boyfriend got me this african style wood notepad, with a small metal elephant image on the front. I adore this so much that I still haven't taken it out the packaging and I'm scared to write in it in case I ruin it with my scruffy handwriting. I am afraid I honestly have no idea where this is from as it wasn't on my wishlist for christmas and was a complete surprise!

5)
If you hadn't already guessed, I adore Harry Potter. I grew up reading the books and watching the films and even now at the age of 20 they are still my all time favourite books. Christmas morning involved coming close to tears quite a lot! Again, these weren't on my wishlist so I've no idea where these bookmarks are from from I'm afraid. They come in a beautiful case and look so pretty stood on display on my shelf that I don't want to take them out! As you can see there is a gap between the house name and the house crest and to sit in your book you simply slide them onto the page so that the house crest is in front whilst the house name is behind!

6)I grew up watching all the disney films and I love them just as much as I love HP. Don't ask me to choose a favourite because it's impossible, but two that I very much love are Lilo & Stitch and Tangled. Stitch is my all time favourite disney character and Tangled is definitely in my top 5 films so my boyfriend treated me to a little Pascal! I also adore the How To Train Your Dragon franchise and I spotted this Toothless whilst I was scrolling through Facebook and I just had to get him. Toothless is fast becoming a character that I love ALMOST as much as Stitch so I couldn't say no!

7)
These are some of the most beautiful books I have honestly ever seen.
I adore fairytales so when I was greeted with these books on my birthday I definitely welled up! I've already read The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Rapunzel and Thumbelina and I can tell you that these originals are absolutely mental compared to the Disney versions. You can see why Disney changed as much as they did!

8)
This book is incredible. It tells you everything you could ever want to know about the making of Harry Potter and how they turned the books into films. It takes you through each of the films individually before moving onto the profile of every character, creature and location you can think of!
If that weren't enough, just look at the images. They're practically artwork and it's taking so much restraint not to take each image from this book and frame it! I have spent countless hours flicking through this book and I've barely read any of it because I spend so long staring at the pictures! I had to restrain myself from photographing every page in this book to show you because it's all so amazing!

I apologise that this post was such a long one but I just couldn't stop myself with my camera. I am so proud and lucky to own these things and I wanted to really show how beautiful and amazing each and every one of them were!
