Back To School Stationery Haul

It's back to school time!
At the end of this month I'll finally be going back into education and starting university, so I thought I would do a little stationary haul of all the bits I've picked up to prepare myself for studying again! I am a complete stationary addict so I may have gone a little overboard, but if ever I have an excuse to buy stationary, it's now!
Aside from a few things, everything in this haul is from Staples. Myself and my dad went on a little trip there and went a tad crazy!

The first thing I picked up were some notepads! I prefer notepads that you flip up and over, rather than ones that open at the side like a book. Purely because, as a form of revision, any notes I take during classes/lectures I then type up onto my computer with fancy colours and organise it into more structured revision notes. So when I've done that, I can just rip the top sheet out of my notepad and continue taking notes in a fresh new empty book. Plus, these pages already have holes punched into the sides as well so if I want to keep the notes I can just easily move them into a folder without loads of hassle!
I then got some high lighters. I went for the mini ones because I don't have a very large pencil case and I hate it when they are so jam packed that you can't reach anything so I bought these little mini ones to save on space! I then also got some coloured pens just purely for the fact that they looked pretty!

I then got a stapler and a Tipp-Ex. Usually I don't ever use anything like Tipp-Ex because it's always messy and you have to wait for it to dry which takes ages and it just looks rubbish! But this little thing, this just wipes like a fresh piece of sticky paper over your writing, which you can write on instantly and makes it look so much neater. It's a great tool for in exams when you need your work to look as neat as it can but need to be able to write quickly!
I then got some Post-It notes. I got the small ones in the packet for when I need to mark somewhere in a text book because it's always a nuisance when you borrow a book from the library and you need to remember a page, but you can't draw in the textbook so you just end up using a bunch of random sheets of paper as bookmarks!
I did think the big ones were also post-it notes, but it turns out they're not! They're more like a memo pad which I'll probably keep on my desk for when I need to write anything down quickly!

You can't start a new academic year without brand spanking new pens. I got these from WHSmith and you can actually get quite a lot for only a couple of pound!
My pencil case (from Staples) is actually quite spacious inside and I manage to fit everything in along with the Tipp-Ex and stapler. It's not the most fancy pencil case but it's big and squishy and bright and I like it!

Last but not least, a diary! There's no way I'd be able to keep organised and up to date with everything in uni if I didn't have a diary, my head would be all over the place. I got this beautiful bright orange academic diary from The Works for just £2! It's A5 and has loads of helpful features like term timetables pages and things like that. I adore the embossed pattern on the front and can't wait to use this beautiful piece of stationary!

Let me know in the comments if buying new stationary is one of the perks of going back to school for you as well and let me know what things you've bought recently!

Great choice of notebooks, I cannot emphasise the need for good quality paper. Especially if you need to tear it out.
As for the diary, definitely, Uni gets so hectic you can't keep up!
Good luck though darling. I wish you all the best!
