Night Owls by Jenn Bennett | Book Recommendation

'Meeting Jack on the Owl - San Francisco's night bus - turns Beatrix's world upside down. Jack is charming, wildly attractive ... and possibly one of San Francisco's notorious graffiti artists. On midnight rides and city rooftops, Beatrix begins to see who this enigmatic boy really is. But Jack is hiding much more - and can she uncover the truth that leaves him so wounded?'
As I mentioned in a post in January, I set myself a 2015 Reading Challenge! The challenge was to read 21 books this year and as of last month, I completed this challenge! I'm going to do a post in the new year of all the books I read and my thoughts on them, but for now, I wanted to share my opinions on the book that I completed this challenge with!

Night Owls is a teenage romance novel set in San Francisco. Recently I've been a little apprehensive at picking up teenage romance novels as every one that I've read recently seems to follow a similar story line with similar characters and I've just stopped being interested in them. Night Owls however, is so unbelievably good that it's now in my top ten stand alone books! Honestly, if I write a teenage romance novel, this is what I would want it to be like. The characters are so individual and interesting that you're hooked from the first word. I adore the story between them and I love love love romance books that have more to them in terms of the story and backgrounds of the characters. Beatrix, our leading lady, is a high school student who is feisty, fun, and an all round lovely character to read about and I fell absolutely in love with the male lead, Jack. He's just wonderful!
If you're not into romance stories then this book probably isn't for you, but if you're a fan of young teenage romance books like me then I would definitely recommend picking this up because I do honestly reckon this would become one of your favourites. I cannot wait to re-read this book and dive into the story again!

Please let me know in the comments if you have read this book and what you thought, and if you haven't read it, I urge you all to give it a go!
