February | 2016

I've seen these types of posts floating around the world of blogging for a while now and I really enjoy them! I think monthly roundup posts are a great way of looking back at points in your life and also a great way to start fresh for the month ahead. So, the last post of every month is now going to be dedicated to a roundup! I've decided to organise these posts into categories, but that could change in the future if I think of a better way to structure them!

BOOKS
I've been so rubbish with my reading recently. I'm only on to my second book of the year whereas this time last year I was at least 6 or 7 books in! I'm currently reading the second book in the Dancing Jax trilogy by Robin Jarvis and it's actually really good, I just can't seem to find the motivation to read. This has definitely got to change and hopefully once my first set off deadlines are over and done with in March, I'll be able to get back into reading!

BEAUTY
I've actually purchased quite a lot of new beauty products this month. I've been trying to replace my make-up with cruelty free brands and it's harder than I thought! I've done endless research but so many people say different things, so I've done the best I can and compiled a list of brands that I believe are cruelty free and have looked up reviews on certain make-up pieces. I'll be showing you guys what new pieces I've bought with a makeup look coming soon so make sure you check back for that!

MUSIC
I've been obsessed with disney soundtracks this month. I mean, I'm pretty much constantly obsessed with disney, but this month I've been leaving a disney playlist on in the background almost every time I turn my computer on. It's just addictive!

FILMS
I can't remember 100%, but I feel like the only new film I've seen this month is Deadpool. If you don't know what Deadpool is, it's a new superhero film based in the x-men universe.
I really enjoyed this film! It's brilliant and hilarious and some of the subtle jokes throughout are just fantastic, although I have to admit there were points that were a bit too much for me!

LIFE
Life has been quite hit and miss this month. I've been struggling with my skin and have been getting quite stressed with university and general life things so it's been quite a tough one this month. But, march is just around the corner and hopefully I'll be able to pick things up and feel a bit more structured! I have some time off from university when easter rolls around so I'm hopefully going to use that time to tackle all the things that are festering in the back of  my mind and adding to all the stress!

GOALS
I'm doing okay with my goals for this year! I've ticked one off and am making my way slowly through the others. I just need to keep at it and not get myself into any kind of slump. I did a post about my goals for 2016 which you can check out HERE if you so wish!
