Top 5 Romance Reads

Keeping up with featuring more book related posts on this blog, I thought it would be nice to share my current top 5 romance reads. I really like the idea of turning this into a little series and sharing my top 5 reads in different genres, and also feel free to leave any recommendations for other books in the comments! Like all of my top 5 or top 10 posts, these are my current favourites at this moment in time and they're very likely to change as I read more books!

5. THE STATISTICAL PROBABILITY OF LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT BY JENNIFER E SMITH
I've mentioned this book before on my blog and I really like it! It's only a short book, and it's set over the course of 24 hours so it feels even shorter. It's a quick little love story all about fate and destiny and whether you believe in that sort of thing and it's just a wonderful read!

4. DREAM A LITTLE DREAM BY GIOVANNA FLETCHER
This is by far my favourite book of Giovannas'. It's a gorgeous romance read about a girl who keeps having dreams about a certain someone she used to know, who then suddenly reappears in her life. I loved the characters in this book and I was rooting for a happy ever after the whole way through, but I love how this book deals with other issues besides romance. I read this on holiday and there were definitely some teary moments by the pool, it gets quite sad!

3. ME BEFORE YOU BY JOJO MOYES
I'm sure all of you will have read this book, it's too good not to! I actually read this a long time ago back in 2012 when I was on holiday in France, and this book had me laughing and crying. If you don't know what it's about, it follows a girl called Louisa who becomes a carer for a man named Will, who was in a motorbike accident and is now paralysed from the neck down. It's an absolutely gorgeous emotional read and if you haven't read it I urge you to go out and get yourself a copy!

2. BEAUTIFUL DISASTER BY JAMIE MCGUIRE
Myself and my friend buddy read this years ago and we both absolutely loved it. It's set in a university and follows the characters Abby and Travis over the course of their relationship. I think we both fell head over heals for the male protagonist and I loved that Abby is a really strong and feisty leading lady!

1. NIGHT OWLS BY JENN BENNETT
I know this is more teenage romance than adult, but I couldn't not include it! This was my absolute favourite read of 2015 and I can't wait to reread it when I get the chance. It follows the relationship between Beatrix, an aspiring medical illustrator, and Jack, the local graffiti artist. The characters in this are so original and different and I fell completely in love from the beginning. It's only a short read so I honestly urge any of you who haven't read it to give it a go!
