How I Spend My Christmas Eve

I am a sucker for traditions and over the years myself and my family have created many different traditions that we like to do every year around the festive period. When I was younger, christmas eve was usually spent at a family friends house, which we went to every year until we all got a bit older and wanted to do our own things. Nowadays, with my sister having her own house and everyone being quite busy, christmas eve has become a night that I'm able to spend doing anything I want so I thought it would be nice to share how I plan to spend my christmas eve this year!

VISIT MY GRAN AND GRANDAD
Every year on christmas day my entire family goes round to my gran and grandads house for a night of drinks and board games, but this year I think myself and my mum are going to drive up on christmas eve as well to give them their presents and just spend more time with them. Being in my grandparents house at christmas brings back so many childhood memories so I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time there over the festive period!

HAVE A CHRISTMAS BATH
I was given a lot of Lush products for my birthday, some of which are christmas themed and I cannot wait to have a relaxing festive bath on christmas eve!

WRAP UP COSY
I'm going shopping this week and I plan to treat myself to a pair of cosy christmas pyjamas to snuggle up in on christmas eve. We've never done the tradition of christmas eve pyjamas so that's definitely something I'm going to start!

WATCH CHRISTMAS FILMS
There's probably nothing else I would rather do more than snuggle up and watch endless christmas films on christmas eve. I recently watched Arthur Christmas and it's quickly become one of my favourite christmas films so I think a night in front of the telly relaxing is definitely how my evening is going to go. I cannot wait!

How do you spend your christmas eve?

  5. Love this! I actually had a bath using one of my Lush Christmas bath bombs - my new fav! (It turned the water such a lovely shade of ocean blue). Right now I'm lying on the floor of my lounge room under the aircon... Christmas time in Australia is HOT :p Definitely going to make my boyfriend watch Christmas movies with me later, though!
