My Bucket List | Travel

There are a lot of things I want to do in life and one of those is travel. Whilst I don't think I'll ever be the backpacking type, I have a list as long as my arm of all the places I want to visit in my life time so I thought I would share some of those with you guys today. I'm sure there will be more places added to this list over time, but as of right now, these are my top ten places to see!

SOUTH AFRICA… I'm pretty sure this has been my number one travel destination for as long as I can remember. I adore so much about Africa, and I am desperate to experience a safari. I know I will be absolutely terrified, but it's something I have to do.

MACHU PICCHU… This one will be a pretty intense trip as it's a four day hike, but I would absolutely love to trek the Inca Trail. I've seen so many pictures and videos and it just looks absolutely incredible. I'm pretty certain I would have to train for this though because I am definitely not fit enough right now.

THE BAHAMAS… For the beach holiday of a lifetime, the Bahamas is definitely the place I would go. It looks beautiful.

ICELAND… I've been talking about this one a lot recently. I've always been into astronomy through my dad's influence and I am desperate to go and see the northern lights. I can't even begin to imagine how incredible it would be, plus I'm also eager to go skiing, ride a snowmobile, swim in the blue lagoon etc.

NEW YORK… Whilst I'm definitely an exploring nature over exploring a city kind of girl, there's something specific I would like to do in New York and that is see a broadway show. If you’ve seen any of my theatre posts, you'll know I have a growing love for musicals and seeing a show on broadway would be a dream. Right now the musical of choice would be Dear Evan Hansen, but Hamilton and Anastasia are up there too!

DISNEYWORLD - FLORIDA… The child inside of me needs to visit Disneyworld and the Universal Studios. I want to meet all the characters, go on the rides (not the big ones), and experience the magic for myself!

THE GRAND CANYON - ARIZONA, U.S… I know a couple of people who have visited the grand canyon and all of them have said how incredible it is. I don’t really have a huge connection to this one, but it’s definitely something I know I need to see before I die.

NEW ZEALAND… This is a big one for me. I honestly think New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on this earth and I’ve considered moving there one day. There’s just something about it that calls to me and I’m not sure what it is, but I love it.

ROME - ITALY… I know a lot of people who have visited Rome and all of them have said that it is a beautiful city. I've definitely got a romantic view of the city and would love to visit with a partner one day, but I'm not sure I can wait for that!

HAWAII… This one is similar to New Zealand in that there's just something about Hawaii that calls to me. The islands, the culture, the scenery, I absolutely love it and would give anything to visit.

What’s on your travel bucket list?

  3. If you wanna see elephants then the Kruger Park in South Africa is the place to go.

Elephants come so close they come up to your car! It's honestly such an invigorating experience (and a scary on at that).

  5. New York is top of my list! It seems like everyone on my Instagram is always there too haha so I have huge cravings! I went to Iceland for three days last year and it was incredible, I couldn't recommend it more. There's so much I didn't get to do there though so it's top of my list to revisit!

  7. I got my first taste of Europe 3 years ago, and now I want to see it all! Germany is next on my travel list.
I definitely recommend Orlando, Florida if you're a Harry Potter nerd like. I absolutely had to go back after they added Diagon Alley, and it is soo, soo worth the travels. So much fun!

  8. I love this list! Can definitely relate to wanting to see the Grand Canyon, just gotta save enough for a helicopter ride around it too haha! Machu Picchu as well, but I think all the new seven wonders are a list on themselves! And you've definitely gotta go to Iceland, I went back in February and I'm back in the process of writing a couple of posts about it, if you want to check them out? But it's truly such a stunning country, definitely recommend it in the winter! You'd love New York as well, I think even if you're more country than city, there's something about that place that's just so charming! Plus, there's always a million things going on in central park, enough to get lost and forget you're in the city that never sleeps haha.
